PROVIDENCE, RI, July 24, 2017 – Waterfront Productions LLC, based in Newport,
Rhode Island, and music promoter, Live Nation, announce that 1980s female rock
icon Pat Benatar and her producer-guitarist-husband, Neil Giraldo, will appear
in concert on Friday, September 22nd with gates opening at 5:00 p.m.
at the new seasonal outdoor venue located at Bold Point Park on the East
Providence, Rhode Island waterfront. Set
times are subject to change, check www.riwaterfrontevents.comfor confirmed lineup updates. Tickets for the show will go on sale this
Thursday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. and start at $22.75 for general
admission and $49.75 for reserved seating.

Pat Benatar, the leading female rock
vocalist of the 1980s with multiple Platinum albums, four Grammy awards and
three American Music Awards, has always been a trailblazer as songs like “Love
is a Battlefield”, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Heartbreaker”, “Promises In
The Dark” and “We Belong” contributed to the dawn of MTV and forged a path for
other female rock stars around the world.
Benatar’s life changed forever in 1979 when she was introduced to
guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Neil Giraldo, who shared the singer’s passions
and used his skills as an innovative arranger and producer to help form the
renowned Benatar sound.
